ARE YOU INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY

With the recent topic of going to the polls, I woke up this morning and realize we can all talk about the recent results, our feelings, concerns, joy, and gripes about November 2nd. It is done.
However, I wondered, how many are actively involved in their communities to support there causes and believes. It could be the PTA, coaching soccer, gay rights, Sierra Club, something where your are making an impact now with others.

I always tell my kids three basic principles:

1st- If you talk the talk, walk the walk.

2nd- There are three kinds of people:
1) Those that wish for things to happen.
2) Those that wait for things to happen.
3) Those that MAKE things happen.

3rd- Don't take what anyone tells you as gospel.
