Hooli - as much as we rip on you (and you dish it back) - you're a pretty good guy. Thanks for the words. We try hard to raise him right and love him enough (not that the last one is hard) - but we can always stand to hear from a verteran from the war efforts... Very Happy

Looks like we were too late with Hooli's replacement battery! Worst of all, he's not here to take the abuse that we would undoubtedly would have poured on him for the unmerciful drubbing that the 49'ers took on Sunday. Diablo But he'll be back in time to see a wonderful Titan/Buccaneer Super Bowl! Ok
How 'bout them Bucs!!!

I'm sorry, Steve... it looks like you made a mistake. And thats okay cause we're all human, but you mean a RAIDERS/Bucs Superbowl!!

Looks like my team is out, 49ers. I did not want them to go anyway, I dont think they have what it takes to win the superbowl. I was glad to see they made the playoffs, it was harsh seeing them loose 31-6, OUCH!!!!!

All I can say is:

No New York teams in the playoffs any longer - YEA!

Pittsburgh is also out - YEA!

I don't particularly care enough about the remaining teams to get really psyched or upset for the rest of the playoffs. I think I'll root for the Raiders though - just seems like the obnoxious thing to do. That and seeing a Raiders/Gruden matchup would be just plain fun.

I Loved watching the Raiders getting their butts royally whupped! Only thing disappointed me was they didn't show Al Devious at the end of the game looking like he just bit into a sour lemon!
I went to the very first game the Raiders played in Oakland; 1963 at 17,000 seat Frank Youell Field, a community college field. Didn't buy season ticket that year but didn't miss a game. Had five season tickets when they moved into the Oakland Coliseum, built just for them. Missed my first game in 1967 when I tore a muscle in my back and could barely get outta bed to pee. Think from that first game 'til they moved to LaLa land I missed five games total. Cut me, I bled Silver and Black; Ben Davidson Stepped on my daughter's foot on an annual visit to the Raider training camp in Santa Rosa; Gene Upshaw and his girlfriend baby sat Linda one evening. Over ten thousand people on a waiting list for season tickets and the most loyal fans a team could hope for. How did Al Devious, one of the most greedy SOB's in the history of sports, repay our loyalty? Yanked the team right out from under us and moved it to LaLa Land. I don't care who the other team is, I'm rooting for them if they're playing the Raiders Evil or Very Mad

LOL... understood!!

And my thoughts, once Oakland Raiders, should've stayed Oakland Raiders (even though I was born and raised in LaLa land while they were there, and I engoyed watching and meeting them), glad they are again Oakland Raiders, hope they stay Oakland Raiders, won't miss Al when he's gone (none too soon either!!)

And, even though I will always be a Raider fan... it was nice to see my son's team do so well, and bring home the Championship. No bitter loss for me... Tampa played better, harder, and earned it!!
