I know many of you just plain love Reavis, and wanted to extend an invitaiton for all who need to get in there and eat some apples. I will be hiking in on the south t.h. (Rogers Trough)? Oct. 9th with my wife, Felecia and maybe 2 others. Its gonna be a grand ole time. This is an overnight for us, but anyone can make a dayhike out of it if they wish
Get in here! Very Happy

Ooh very tempting Mike, I'll see how my feet are at the end of the week and maybe dayhike it on Sunday. I need some new shoes by then also.

Don't get a belly ache from eating to many of those apples.

The water situation is great. I may be passing through there either Wed or Friday.

Does anyone know for sure that there is an apple crop this year? The trees have not been looking so good lately.

Check out azhiker96's trip report. The pictures are gone now but there was a nice cluster of apples in his picture.

Yes is there a bumper crop. When we were there a couple weeks ago a couple of cowpokes were taking 800 pound out on pack animals.

George went up the day after us and took some photo's

the apples are worth the trip, the red ones taste best. The road is in good shape, a car could make it. The creek is running slow, and in spots disappears underground.
