2004!

Permits for four October 13-16, hiking out 10/17. Camping at large in Upper Tapeats 10/13 - 10/15, camping at large, Esplanade 10/16.

There may also be two permits available for the right individuals 10/6 - 10/9, same itenerary as above.

This would be the one you want Diane, Shortest river in the world, only river that empties into a creek, Upper Tapeats canyon, hike the river to Deer Creek, Stone Canyon. Boy I can't wait.

It's pretty high up the list of the "must do" Arizona hikes. If you go, camp up stream on Tapeats from where the trail from T River comes down to Tapeats. We hiked up that canyon last time, some very lovely spots if you get your feet wet one time. (Or take shoes off and wade.)

I'm sure tempted, but I have this problem. I think it's called employment. Or maybe that's not the real problem, just an intermediate one. It lies in there in between destitution and mortgage, tuition, food, utilities, etc.
