Does anyone know what the elevation gain is from the TH to about 2.5 miles in where there is a little saddle and lots of washed out rocks that could possibly be a good waterfall when it rains? It's the part right before it flattens out and you go across a meadow like area where the old Goat Camp is. I have decided to get in better hiking shape and this trail to this point is my stairmaster. |

Help me out here so I can help you out. I have a good topo program here that will find out excatly what you're looking for. I just need to know the general area. The TH, is it on the north, east, south, or west part of the mountian? and from the TH, which way does the trail go? n,e,s,w? Is it also near the white tanks proving grounds or some kind of land mark to help me out. Hopefully I'll be able to help you out here. Get back to me then. _________________ "IRONMAN" cometh, hiketh, destroyeth |

It is 1500 feet in gain from the trailhead at 1500 feet to Goat Camp at 3000 feet. This is at 3 miles. At 2.1 miles it is at 2450 feet. This is just below the dry waterfall. |
