There will be more shirts, just thought I'd submit them as I finished them. I'm still waiting on a few pics. I intend to do another swim team and several support and a generic or two.

Hooli why is one preview smaller than the other? Both of these images were the same resolution. Did you make the two previews and did you size them differently?

What is kurthzone extreme?

Didn't you at one time label your site "Kurthzone Extreme?

Yeah, I made the two previews but have no idea why they're different sizes; had trouble uploading them from my hard drive to the Gallery; Mike suggested they were too big, so I resized them, but did both the same.

My isp is extremezone.com

So many folks do not understand resolution. Often times dpi is confused with ppi. The files I sent you were 216 ppi (pixels per inch) @ 8 X 10 inches. when they are printed they can be output at 3000 dpi (dots per inch), 2400 dpi 1200 dpi, etc., etc., etc. Dots per inch define a spot size which in turn defines the pixel area that makes up the image. Add lpi into this mix and you have real confusion. Lines per inch define the number of halftone dots that print the color seperated image. Newpapers use 85 to 110 line halftone screens and fine magazines use 200 to 300 line screens. Anyway the resolution that Cafepress calls for is 150 t0 300. Anything less than that is going to show pixelization. Typical web graphics are only 72 ppi at same size. Some are 96 ppi, but both of those resolutions are two small for quality T-shirt printing. If you made your reductions anything less than 150 ppi @ 8 X 10 inches, then the chances are that the T-shirt will show some pixelization. Resolution is relative, so if a web graphic is 24 X 36 inches @ 72 ppi, it will print fine at 8 X 10 (sort of, at least for T-shirts). This is the reason I'm able to use some of the digital images that are in the Gallery. They are huge. So when you use them in a smaller area without resampling the reolution becomes greater than 72. Is any of this making sense? There is a point of diminishing return, that is the resolution is so great that the normal human eye can no longer discern the detail differences.

Stan,

How about getting some tank tops with logos on them? That'd be great!

Thanks

Umm...thanks Cliff.

Did anybody actually read the whole paragraph? I got about 2 sentences in and all I heard was the teacher on Peanuts "wa wa wa blah blah blaH".
