Never weighed my day pack and I don't intend to! I am used to carrying it and it works fine for me the way it is so I really don't want to know how much it weighs cause I am certain I would have to start shaving oz's and lbs there to! Ignorance, after all, IS bliss!

My backpack generally weighs in around 30-35 pounds depending on the amount of water I'm carrying. I tried to buy as much lightweight stuff when I made my purchases this year and can't possibly fit another thing into it.

Like Diane, I never weighed my daypack but I know on one trip it weighed close to 20 pounds due to the 200 oz of water I had to carry. I "guesstimate" that it normally weighs around 12-13 pounds with all my stuff and 100 oz of water.

My heaviest day pack was when I attempted the last 4 Peaks Mother Lode. I think I had 210 oz of water. That wasn't much fun. Other that that my backback usaually weighs in the 30-40lb range. I have some lightweight gear but it's the alcohol and canned goods that kill me.

I think jumbo sized cans of Campbells Chunky Soup and a twelve pack would do me in too Razz

Or was that Brad who brought that to Reavis?

Nope that was Tim! and I believe, Rob...and I seem to recall MORE than a 12 pack, they had like three different brands of beer!! Crazy
