I know a group planning this barely organized trip for Saturdy of MLK weekend, and plan to go along. Anyone else? 16 miles, 4500' EC.

Do you know what day they are actually planning on making the hike? I would love to do it, but I have to work that Saturday. Sad

Just for a little ways on top. The first time I did the canyon it was in the snow.

Some snow sounds fun, ck1 has a tale about coming out in hip-deep snow in April. I'll have to pass though, my schedule won't allow it.

My first time in the canyon, I came out in a snowstorm, too. It was actually a lot of fun! But, the fire at B.A. Lodge was a very welcome sight, too!!

Rim to rim is one of my goals for this year, but it's gonna have to be after the snow's gone. Maybe late April or early May.

I do a rim-rim to "rage against the age" on my birthday. Two years in a row, and I have reservations at the North Rim Lodge for the third. We'll see how long I can keep it up. I was feeling pretty proud of myself till someone I know said they do Rim-rim-rim.
