Too add to the math stuff statistically helicopters don't fly. I stood in a batting cage once with 90mph pitches. I could not make contact unless I started my swing just as the pitch was released, guessing where it would be, and adjusted mid swing for where the ball actually was.
I tuned in at the 6th inning and could tell right off the bat something special was going on. I was kind of surprised. Typically the announcers won't say anything about it after about the 6th to prevent a jinx. Even more amazing then the perfect game, he only went to a ball 3 count once!
Years back I watched Juan Nieves pitch a no hitter for Milwaukee. Note: that was the game where Robin Yount (current d'backs 3rd base coach and probably future coach) made one of the best catches I ever seen in centerfield for the last out of the game. _________________
