Been riding the road bicycle from Apache Junction to Canyon Lake (not recommended during the weekend) couple of times a week that past two weeks. It can be a white knuckler on a bicycle. |

How bad is the climb back out from the lake...that's the only section I'm hesitant on... _________________ -Colin

Any traffic and you can lose your momentum, cars may force you to the side of the road and cut you off, causing you to stop. The bike that I have been using (85 Trek 660) has a double chain ring 52/39 and the freewheel is 11-28. It has been tough but I have actullay been able to use the larger front chain ring a lot more. There is a group of people riding on wednesday from AJ to the end of the pavement and back. |
