Weather.com for quick local forecast and NOAA for current radar. _________________ John Richardson and Richie Rich, El Perro de Playero

I believe this is bzachar's site. It isn't quite real-time, but it's updated every 15 minutes:

I think looking out of the window is fine for hikes in the local area ( I do this too!) -- It isnt low tech but SMART!!
but if you are planning on a trip far away .....looking out of the window does not help with the decision to drive 100's miles only to find out the weather was bad at the destination. _________________ Photos: http://www.pbase.com/desertgirl/galleries

I like to see a animated satellite. It can tell you quite a bit and help you decide if the forecast is going to be accurate at all.
Pilot Weather Satellite
I do like Weather Underground and some more aviation sites which report the current weather at various stations. _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys
