Okay - with this likely being the last of the decent rain/snowfall for the year - who is up for a trip up Barnhardt Trail this weekend?

We went last year just after a snowfall and the waterfalls were spectacular. I'm in the middle of a short break in schoolwork so I can probably do it without too much complaint.

Anyone else up for it? It is fairly long - I think we went back in about 5 or 6 miles if I recall correctly, but the views are great and the snow was very cool.

I'd love to do this again, but will be in CA this weekend. It was a great hike last year....snowball fights in AZ!
I'd really like to do tis as an overnighter (two nights!) while there's still running water. Place where snowball fight started would be an excellent campsight.

Saturday is Goat Moving Day, otherwise, I'd be up for going.

Oh, geeze - I completely forgot.

Hmmmm...I may have to ditch this hike then. I'll see what the response is. I'd like to help Todd.

However, there is the somewhat appealing idea of "You're moving while I'm hiking...sucker!"

But that wouldn't be a nice thing to do - would it? angel

OMG I forgot about that too.

See how you rate Todd?

Something tells me though, that if there was an enticing hike planned on our moving day, Todd would be nowhere to be found... am I right?

Ya know, on second thought, with all the help that's going to show up, we could still get out onto Barnhardt fairly early.

I would imagine all of our vehicles combined would equal a semi. One trip... done deal. Off to the trail.

I would gladly help any of you hike, er I mean move...... Goat just give me some notice.

Don't worry about me, you guys go hike, it's going to be a great weekend for running water and such I believe. I haven't hiked in over a month due to packing but I'll get a spoonful or two after I get moved in, I'm looking incredibly forward to it.

I should have plenty of help this weekend, it'll be a hike in itself, promise. Upstairs, downstairs etc. If you want to help sign in here -

Thanks, I'll be hiking with you guys in late March,

Well - I'm not doing much of anything this weekend.

I'm not sure what I did, but I really tweaked my back. It's an old problem, but one that flares up every few years or so. This time is particularly bad.

But hey, the doc gave me big Ibuprofin horse pills, plus some type of muscle relaxant and some vicadin pain killers.

Its aaaaaaallllllll gooooooooood. Dismayed Crazy

Is it just me or is there a kind of purple haze today?

I wouldn't be too concerned about a little haze, Daddee, you're fine as long as you don't see dancing elephants or something!

Crazy
Look out! Look out!
Pink elephants on parade
Here they come!
Hippety hoppety
They're here and there
Pink elephants ev'rywhere
Look out! Look out!
They're walking around the bed
On their head
Clippety cloppety
Arrayed in braid
Pink elephants on parade
What'll I do? What'll I do?
What an unusual view!
I could stand the sight of worms
And look at microscopic germs
But technicolor pachyderms
Is really much for me
I am not the type to faint
When things are odd or things
are quaint
But seeing things you know that ain't
Can certainly give you an awful fright!
What a sight!
Chase 'em away!
Chase 'em away!
I'm afraid need your aid
Pink elephants on parade!
Pink elephants!
Pink elephants!

Here's the alternate AZH version:

Look out! Look out!
Pink Hooli Jeeps on parade
Here they come!
Hippety hoppety
They're here and there
Hooli Jeeps ev'rywhere
Look out! Look out!
They're walking around the bed
On their head
Clippety cloppety
Arrayed in braid
Hooli Jeeps on parade
What'll I do? What'll I do?
What an unusual view!
I could stand the sight of worms
And look at microscopic germs
But technicolor Hooli arms
Is really much for me
I am not the type to faint
When things are odd or things
are quaint
But seeing things you know that ain't
Can certainly give you an awful fright!
What a sight!
Chase 'em away!
Chase 'em away!
I'm afraid need your aid
Pink Hooli Jeeps on parade!
Pink Hooli Jeeps!
Pink Hooli Jeeps!
