Since there is so much interest in this hike, When do you feel is the best time? Mid february? March? The more advance notice, the better...

Who has a 4 X 4? Where are you coming in from?
There is a gas station in the estrella ranch area we can meet and car pool the rest of the way in...

Im in Glendale so I'll be coming from I-10 West side

Good to have you along TommyB! This is a big plus in the transportation department. If you can hook up with Cactuscat and Daddee, I will go pick up Cakewalk and Dennisbench. Keep in mind, it's a long drive to the trailhead from the East valley. I would like to meet at the trailhead at 9. That means I will be leaving Ahwatukee between 6:30 and 7:00.

Well... I have some bad news.

Turned my ankle playing racquetball last night. I iced it right away, but it is killing me. I doubt I'll be ready for Saturday. Especially with the difficulty involved. I really don't want to push it.

Sorry guys. I really wanted to do this one.

I'm afraid that I will be out of this one as well. Family matters come first. Sorry all. But, on the bright side - nobody was really counting on my presence anyway... Crying or Very sad

TommyB, take care of that ankle. Don't want to make it worse. Daddee, you're right, family matters do come first. Sorry to hear that you guys can't make it.
Cactuscat, are you still in?

I don't think so - it's such a long drive, and I've had too many late nights and early mornings this week. Sleeping in tomorrow sounds real good! Sleeping

I can really kick myself for not trying to get this one off alot sooner. Mad I was hoping to do this one.
Seams like this happens alot that many people jump on the bandwagon and want to ge then something comes up and cannot go.
For the few of you going, have fun. Wink Hope somebody takes pics and is able to post em.

DennisBench I was hoping to meet you since you live so close to me. Maybe we could get togather some other time. Smile
