A group of us are getting together this Saturday morning at 8:00 AM to hike Trail 100, (Charles M. Christiansen Trail).
We'll be leaving from the Shaw Butte trailhead on 7th St., just south of Thunderbird.
We'll be hiking about 9 miles over to Tatum Blvd. where we'll have to have cars parked.
It's a nice hike right through the middle of town, but completely in the wilderness. We go past the Pointe, Sheriff's Posse stables, under Cave Creek Rd, under Squaw Peak, through Dreamy Draw Park, to Tatum Blvd.
There's lovely views of all of the major mountain ranges surrounding Phoenix plus great views of fantastic Sunnyslope and we'll pass many old mine digs.

If you're interested let me know.
Thanks,
GTG

The 18th or the 8th? This Saturday is the 8th - the 18th is a Tuesday.
