Shortly after sundown I went for a mtn. bike ride in the rain, tried out my North Face rain shell worked great. The rain drumming on my parka hood was not the same as a tin roof but it was pleasant to hear. Hope the rain continues through out the night, night hike in the rain is long overdue.
