What about active oldsters?
Once I past 50, the odds of finding an fit and active woman within 5 years or so of my age and still crazy enough to tolerate me seem to be in the same range as hitting the Powerball. |

I was married for 13 years but that been a thousand years ago now. I'm not ready to buy a goldfish yet though. _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. Wait, wait, wait......
desertdog- Why are you wanting to get a woman only 5 years +/- ? You can go for younger than that. I mostly see men go for younger women and women for older men. I think it's all in how mature they are.
Robert- Why not get a gold fish? They don't talk back, they are minimal maintenance and you can leave home w/out them. LOL |

Maturity is relative. The cumulative experience of life gives one a perspective that is not attainable otherwise, and I want to meet someone I can relate to.
Also, most people's emphasis on various aspects of live change as we age, so even though someone can be mature in their thirties or early forties, the odds are that their priorities are radically different from mine.
Also, it's nice to have a best friend who is able to recognize some of the same cultural landmarks as we do.
I want a woman who knows who Johnny Winter and Duane Allman are, and would never defile our relationship with Culture Club and Boy George |

Nice to know there are still some men out there that think this way! There may be hope for some of us 40-somethings yet! _________________ ~Tracy

I don't beleive that most middle aged men are truly attracted to chicky-poos. _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. Wait till all you gals get to be in your 50's..I am approaching the BIG 60(one step closer to Medicare) and dating(?) becomes not even an option and time is precious.
Women like myself ,fit ,strong, fun knowledeable, etc. etc., pale against most of the single gals out there, no matter how we look, as men are always looking for younger, etc. You know what I'm saying.
Most of the men I have dated, I met somewhere outdoors where no one looks their best and there is more reality. It's a jungle out there! |
