Didn't we just do this?
The American Cancer Society is setting up for the 2009 Climb to Conquer. We had a good time last year (seems like that was just last week?) so why not go again. About a 5 mile walk up the road to the top, 2.5 miles down the back way.
Pooches welcome!
Lunch at The Farm afterwards.
Any great ideas for T-Shirt art? Gotta be black and white, simple is better than complicated.
Register, donate and order t-shirt size online. I'll pick up the Tshirts and bring them to the event or get them to you before hand.

Heads up every one! The T shirts are ugly olive green this year! If you are totally opposed, you may want to consider bringing last years pretty purple one! Looking forward to this! And lunch at the Farm afterward!!!! _________________ ~~~Diane~~~

Diane,
Could you pick up my t=shirt for me. I'll be working but will put in a hike later in the day towards my pledges.
Thanks. _________________ "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

Why don't you just have your cousin join us for the hike!? |
She will have her two boys and hubby with her. They don't plan to do the whole thing. Plus, we will probably be with his co-workers. Thanks for the offer!!! _________________ Anne

Mission accomplished, again. Doesn't really seem like a year since the last time we did this, but it was a good day in the outdoors. No wildflowers this year, which seems odd, we had lots of them last year. And we've had rain. ???? Tod it was great to meet your mother at lunch at The Farm. Also, nice to meet you Deborah and Antwon (sp?).
Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting this. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

Shawn, Thanks for bringing the awesome cinnamon rolls!
The walk was very well organized and well worth the drive.
Hope to see everyone in the near future! _________________ Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. - Rachel Carson |

Yes, THANK YOU for the awesome cinnamon rolls! I never could've made it up the mountain without them!!!
And thanks for putting this together for us once again, I definitely needed to get out of my kitchen and enjoy the fresh air!! _________________ ~Tracy

Yeah...being as I got there just on time, missed out on the yummy cinnamon rolls I'm sure I'll get a chance to enjoy another time (hopefully).
The Day was just gorgeous and so nice to be out in that fresh air again. As a kid I was always outside. Thanks so much Shawn for all your hard work on getting us organized and this together.
Nice to see everyone again and had a really great time despite the crowds up and down.
Think I did this a little faster this time Although going up hill is my hardest, I think. But it was a good walk today and we did it for a good reason other than we wanted to hike.
Enjoyed meeting Antione (sp) and your Mom Todd. It was a great day for
Hope to see all again on another outing soon.
Now where is that Hot Tub I don't own !!! It would feel really good _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)

Well I looked for you guys on the hike, but I didn't see anyone. Although, my family and I went to the farm and saw Shawn and Michelle. I saw a few of you also, but when I got up to say hi, you guys vanished. Oh well. Great day for hiking. It was crowded today, for a good cause! Have a great weekend! _________________ Anne
