Went to visit a friend in Spirit lLke Idaho and she surprised me and drove us to Glacier. (Three hours from her home in Idaho,) The drive was phenomenal, all the pristine rivers and lakes along the way. Makes Bartlett seem like a puddle and Montana is really "big sky".We only had a day and a half, but it was worth every second. Drove the "Going to the Sun Road" which goes through the park and sadly, you can see the glaciers diminishing. I hope to go back and spend at least a week. it is so vast, it's almost hard to comprehend. Truly God's country. Wow! |
