I always used to do my self portraits by leaning my camera against a rock or propped up some rediculous way using a cairn or something or then having your arm in the shot as you try your best self portrait from 3 feet away...

The only thing is my sticks are never that clean. They come into close contact with mule poop. Still it's a neat idea. I've been thinking about buying one of these: http://www.rei.com/product/742238 |
