I got the email and deleted it immediately without opening it! I really don't need that temptation right in front of me at this time! |

Find anything you didn't need but just wanted?

Did you all see the new REI catalog? Includes a 20% off coupon on any one item. Some great prices on clothes, which is timely for me, had to duct tape the holes in my hiking pants for the Barbershop trip Sunday. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

I utilized that 20% off and got the new MSR filter, with my dividend the thing only cost me like $35. They also have 1/2 off all footwear at the outlet. Some odd stuff but I found a pair of sandals that looked cool along with some trail runners. |

Anyone here receive your "Bush Money" from the IRS yet? I haven't! The news went on and on about how some people were getting it last week, but I think that turned out to be just the news media blowing air.
I am getting kayaking stuff. There is some on that REI sale I saw, but I may get what I want from NRS instead. |

The checks are being mailed out. Arrival date depends on the last 2 numbers of your SS#. Mine will be here in mid July. I think you can go to the IRS website and check out your "time". |

Got the "Bush" money last week, with 06 as the last two numbers that helped. |

If you got your refund direct deposited, you should have the "Bush" money hit your account by the 16th at the latest. _________________ ~Tracy

Just saw the last REI Flyer, there are some gems in there. The sub-kilo 20 bag--got one and it is great. The therma rest pad--I need a better back-of-the-car mattress. 25% off the Colorado Garmin GPS's--what's up with that, did they bomb? Thorlo Sox 25% off!
Be thinking of the Christmas gift exchange! _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

Had to look at the REI catalog before doing some packing. They have a couple deals that some people may like.
A 3 Pack of Dry Dags for those canyoneers. $25 Link
Big Agnes Iron Mountain Pad for those that Haven't switched from a thin thermarest yet. $45
Link
REI Sub-kilo Down Sleeping Bag 20 degree for Men's 15 degree for the women. $115, I have the Zero degree bag and they are great for the money. Link
Last they have their 1/4 Dome UL Tent for $150, a good friendly 2 person or big 1 person tent.
