wally, this is an excellent pack to introduce lightweight gear to your hiking style. it has the capacity to haul a decent load, and features that make it (like mentioned) the #1 selling UL pack. simply put, its one of the best.
while your spending your child's college fund, you can buy a Spinntex Pro tarp I just made, like my sil tarps only BAD AYCE and much roomier for the same or less weight. $150 shipped. _________________ http://www.arizonahikers.com/board/albums/albwb18/BRIDGE.sized.jpg

I'll be in line for a tarp soon. I should have the pack before Dripping Spring. You can fill me in on the details then. |

Nice looking pack. Wish I could afford it...pennies are tight right now with inflation and growing gas prices... _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |

Sick pack indeed!
I still have no reason to get rid of my GL Jam though.
Wally, feel free to send me that nubmber. Please remember the exp date and 3 digit code on the back. I will build us both a new gear closet!

GoLite Odyssey.....the answer to all your lightweight large volume backpacking needs. I switched from Arcteryx Bora 80 ( I am rough on my gear) to GoLite...and feel like I am floating...he!he! _________________ Do onto others as you would have others do unto you.
