Yesterday while crossing the Reavis Creek, I looked down and saw a camera case stuck in a branch in the creek. My guess is the camera probably didn't survive the swim, however the memory cards appear to work and one of them is a LARGE memory card! There are only two photos on it though, here is the one that apparently is the owners of this camera. Do you recognize them?

Errr... ummm... I dunno, looks kinda like Kurt on the right, and Stan in the middle, and maybe Diane on the left.

Just kidding. Thanks for fjording for the camera. I'm sure the owner(s) might stumble across the site.

I just popped the camera apart, and it looks like it's been in the creek for awhile. There is a substantial amount of rust and other nastiness within the camera. It's toast! But the memory cards both work.

didn't do a sign at the trail head. I wanted to, and when I found the camera I intended...but then a 14 mile hike happened and I couldn't think straight when I got back to the parking lot. I had forgotten I even had the camera until I got home. I don't think it was lost recently though, after opening it....I think it's been in the creek for awhile! I did post on HAZ also, and Craigslist.

Yeah these can have funny endings. I read a story of a guy who dropped his camera off the cables at half dome. Six months later someone found the memory card sitting on a rock (probably 1000 foot fall/slide) card was a still good and returned to it's owner.

For some reason those faces look familiar... Don't know why, maybe I've passed them on a hike somewhere.. don't know who they are, but they look like someone I've seen before. Scary or my mind is just playing with me.

Shawn I just realized your invisible...what happened to you nice picture?
