Someone say a time for eating, so that late arrivals don't cook all day over a hot stove only to get there and find everyone stuffed. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

It's hard to stop the eating thing once the food arrives....but we can try. How late do you need us to wait? Maybe we need to do a better job of pacing our eating???
White Chili and corn bread sounds great! I'm getting a craving for it now....with the rain and cooler weather. |

I'm bringing vegetable beef stew. That way it can cook while I'm hiking earlier in the day. That and an elf. |

I will bring cookies or some sort of desert. But you won't have to worry, they won't be made by me so they will be safe to eat. |

I will bring Deli Pasta Salad or Corn Pudding. I really like both...but the corn pudding I need to get the recipe from a work buddy's wife, so I'll make that one if I can get my hands on that recipe.
Suz - what are your cross streets and are you going to be sending address/directions out this week?
Thanks! |

Yum, that food list is starting to make me hungry!
Insider information suggests the party crowd should be around 40 people.
Yes, I'll be sending out directions in the next day or two.

Well, of course, for one thing I will bring... Peppermint Patties makins... for some of us, those would fall into any or all 3 categories... appetizer, main course, and Dessert! _________________ Learning is a life long process, schooling is only one part, an education is what I will have when I leave this place. |

Have a good time. I was hoping to make it, but it looks like the weather will clear by this weekend, so I'm finally going to make it into Hermit. I've been postponing the trip ever since early November when I broke my foot - and then the weather the last couple of weekends . . . No camping on the rim, though - it's cold up there! But it should look like Christmas with snow and all that. See you another time! |

Carolyn, Hooli, Stan, Todd, Elizabeth, Linda, Ken, George, Deanda, Matt, Heidi and all the others that can't make it........you will certainly be missed! We are all be disappointed that you can't attend but rest assured we will divy up your share of the food and promise to keep you in our thoughts as we indulge.
I've grabbed some firewood and will handle the paper products, too. I'm wondering if someone might want to handle some of the beverages or if we should make it BYOB? |
