As a few of you know, er gathered, I have moved to Virginia. My wife and I moved our little family out east for business opportunities. I was born in Siverspring, MD so it is a very like home coming for me I suppose.

I posted some pics of Motts Resivior so everyone can sample my new surroundings. It is only 10 min from my house.

I am SO buying a kayak!!!

Hug a cactus for me...

I really enjoyed my time hiking in Virginia, particularly the Mount Rogers area in the south and the Shenandoahs. seems there are a ton of outdoor opportunities in this state.

Good luck with everything!

There isn't enough money in the east unless ya have a family to consider but if ya had to go you could have done MUCH worse than Virginia.
I got to spend some time in the New River Gorge some years ago and it was beautiful.

I have some family around the DC area but my core is still in AZ. There is enough money when your only 30 yrs old a tremendous opportunity shows itself. When I move back home to the desert I will be in a more comfortable fiscal place if all goes as planned. Life is about risks. Cool

It was 90 yesterday for a high and today it was 68. I feel like I am in CO with these kind of temp changes. Leaves are starting to explode with colors. I also have a flowering cherry tree in my front yard. Good times.
