Though I can't seem to post a couple pics in the gallery, last week I descended (canoed) the Green to the Colorado like my forebearer Major JW Powell.
Five days on the Green and down to the Colorado was an awesome trip!
Just past the confluence, I climbed up to the rim like JW Powell, but I used two hands... _________________ What a magnificent time to LIVE! - Everett Ruess.

Two hands was probably better. Pictures when you can please. _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. Are you saying you climbed out the Walter Powell Route? I checked that route out this summer and decided it wasn't for me...................although I do know a few people that have gone down it.
Just not sure what "the green" is.......... |

Glad you had a Great Trip Jim and are back safely. I remember you telling me about it a few weeks ago and you were getting excited then. Will be looking for the pics, I'm sure they are really something to see. _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)

Some say Paradise lays next to it but I'm surte JW means the other popular Green River, major tributary and "source" of the Colorado River.
