The two powerhouses in handheld GPS units are Garmin and Magellan. In my opinion, The Garmin 60 and 76 series (with the X designation) leads the way right now. But thankfully Magellan is firing back with a new Triton series.

Features reportedly will include

Touchscreen commands
2 megapixel camera
Voice recorder (comment on your waypoints to remember stuff)
SirfIII chipset resulting in a tie with Garmin
Collaborated wtih National Geographic to allow direct use of their maps
More open use capability of 3rd party maps
A partiridge in a pear tree

We will have to wait for more info on this series, but ain't competition wonderful.
