REI has reviews now

When you click on a gear item it has a tab now for customer reviews. If you have some time review your favorite or not so favorite pieces of gear.

I think it's a good thing. One stop shopping, no need to go to other websites and search for reviews now. It will take a while for the reviews to build up, but I think it will be a good thing.

Probably just as important to put bad reviews on there as well, otherwise it's pointless if everything just has good reviews.

If the reviews are not edited by REI in any way I can't help but feel like this could become as good a source (for what they sell anyway) of un biased reviews as there is on the internet.

The do review them before they are posted, it said 3-5 days for the ones I posted. I would guess less right now as nobody knows about it yet.
