Thanks for all the good wishes. And Trish, I did get my red, white and blue card automatically. Medicare is effective the first day of your birth month (age 65 that is). Enrollment is automatic and you must file papers only if you want to opt out. For many of you the rules will change many times before you reach this grand age!!!
