With Barry Bonds close to a home run record. I thought I would try out a batting cage. One of them impulse things that I should know better to attempt, but I still love to ride a bicycle when all my coworkers are mostly riding harleys. I am not sure how many balls whizzed by or why in the world I would attempt to bunt. The heart is fine, the sternum is not broken and tylenol 3 takes the edge off.

OUCH!

Don't forget to refill your Tylenol 3 prescription - you never know when the urge to bunt will come again!

They have slowpitch softball batting cages Smile Use them every Tuesday before games. Haven't had any batting cage injures but sure have hurt about everything else playing softball.

This weeks injury was rounding first base a "Sniper) shot my leg out from under me. Well thats what we call it when you fall down on your own accord. Dang wet bags, shouldn't be playing in the rain. Knee is swollen and have about 6 inches or rash/scab/oozing on one leg. It's one of my nicer ones.

I don't get it, I wear pants on weeks I plan on sliding or important games, wear shorts on weeks I plan to take it easy. The week I "take it easy" end up like this. Nothing like wearing pants all day with an oozing leg, some gauze and ace bandage will do the trick for now though. Sure will be an interesting weekend and an even more interesting trip next week. My first aid kit will be of record size for me.

So Tim, when I Hike and fall down on my own accord is that still considered a Sniper) shot....or is this only for baseball? Rolling Eyes

Sorry to hear about the knee now too... Tim, take it easy on yourself huh? Sad

Hmm I guess it would depend on the situation and how quick the fall was Smile I get to take it easy in a few weeks, then it's on for some MRI's and healing for me hopefully.
