Just back from a 3.5 mile walk with Rich. Spotted a javelina crossing the street about 50 feet in front of us. It Stopped on the sidewalk and watched us approach, so I stomped my foot and yelled scat and it took off between two houses that back up to a golf course. Probably headed for one of the lakes. First one I've seen here in a couple of years. Used to see them every few weeks or so, but they built a sound wall when Loop 303 was built behind SCW; and where a big orange grove was as you entered SCW off El Mirage Rd, there's now a gated community of 750 houses, so guess there just isn't the access there used to be. Coyotes have no problem....I've seen them easily go over a six foot sound wall.

When the Man waked up he said, "What is Wild Dog doing here?" And the Woman said, "His name is not Wild Dog anymore, but the First Friend, because he will be our friend for always and always and always. Take him with you when you go hunting."
