For those who need a even greater challenge than this trail, try the ascent of Jacinto via the north face (Snow Creek). Over 10000 foot gain in less than 6 miles.

I think I will complete the regular way first, then work on alternates. It is really an awesome area, I actually though it would just be a boring desert hike. So glad I finally made it there, will be back soon.

The fact that there is beer at the top is a huge plus in my book!

Now, the tram ride down I could do without, but it's better than walking.
