New Bass Pro Shops Store?

Hey, anyone know when the new Bass Pro Shop is supposed to open in Mesa? I thought it was in April sometime. I gotta go down to Feenicks for some procrastinated dental work - ack - and thought I'd pair that trip with something a little more fun. It's either outdoor store touring or drinking... depends on how I feel after the tooth doc.

There's nothing on their site about an opening date but I honestly believe it may be cheaper to drink for the day instead of submitting yourself to all of that gear. Wink

Should be soon, it's looking good. I was on the grounds this morning surveying some water valves ( yep, doing my new job as an asst surveyor for the City Laughing

). the whole complex is actually pretty impressive. Also a new Super Walmart going in (not that we needed another one). Will also be several places to eat and then there is the new cineplex, etc. Your usual new valley mega shopping strip.
I will see if I can find an exact date and post it.

Also have been hearing about the very good possibility of a new major waterpark going in just west of there.
