Spent several hours today out along Hewitt Station Road (Forest Road 357). While checking out a windmill I came across a gopher snake basking in the sun. This early in the year I usually am removing them from a garage. I noted one of the windmills had a new gear assembly. Did not think they were made in the USA anymore. Was expecting to see Made in China, nope Made in the USA. |

I'm told you can buy a new windmill in Hobbs, NM, or Venezuala. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

I was hiking off trail in New River this morning and found one live bull snake and one dead one.
