Meet at Denny's parking lot at US 60 and Rural Road at 7:30 a.m.

From the Butcher Jones recreation site this trail is a pleasant 2 1/2 mile hike (one way) with outstanding access to sonoran desert landscape, the north shore of Saguaro Lake, and view of the surrounding mountains.
This is a great hike to bring your dog (there is a leash law). There will be a $4.00 entrance fee per car, so we will have to bunch up at the meeting spot.
