Superb job, Kent!

This hike was an incredible experience, and not just because of the scenery and challange of it, but also for the chance to be "out there" with an amazing group of people! The coolest thing about Survivor - West Fork, is that NOBODY got voted out of the canyon! Everybody Won!! Thanks to all of my fellow Swim Team members for helping make this happen, you guys RULE! And thanks also to the Support Team: Hoolie, CatValet, Valet2, Chris, Pat, Karen and Mrs Mike! We could not have done this crazy thing without you!

I can't wait for the next adventure... Razz

Sounds like a great hike and a great time. I'm jealous because I would have loved to go but it is WAY above my skill level......maybe next year (but leave out the snake)

Kent....that was a great write up...........very detailed yet humourous.

SWIM TEAM? I'm in....just let me know when you start the diving team Very Happy

I was thinking about you guys all day on Sat--nobody called me when you went to bun huggers!!! The snake story is marvelous--you won't forget that one.

For those of you that want to do this another time I still recommend very hot weather like August when the weatherman says no rain--it is not nearly as painful then because you warm up more quickly. Because the canyon runs east west you still have some shade. I did not remember that many swims but then it has been awhile.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, for letting me be apart of a great hiking group on such an outstanding hike. I would hike with guys any day. Sorry I could not be more social for the evening activities, but apparently my body had had enough. Thanks again, and I hope to see you all out on the trial again soon! Very Happy

I'm jealous now. I could have done without the cold swims, but it sounds like it was quite an adventure. Do it in the summer next year and I'll be there!
