The first albums of photos from my trip are now loaded in the Gallery. Was at Bright Angel lodge when there were seven California Condors soaring overhead, some much closer than in these photos, but with small digital camera, really hard to get them in focus and snapped as they flew by. It was an awesome sight and lasted for over 20 minutes.
Photos from Glacier NP also uploaded to Gallery. _________________ John Richardson and Richie Rich, El Perro de Playero

I saw one of the condors soaring overhead a few months ago when I was there. I was amazed how big (and ugly) they were. They are shockingly big Unfortunatly I did not have my camera at the time _________________ Mountains are there to be climbed!

ditto here on the condor ugly part...did you see any of the "condor hunters" as I like to call them (condor people who track them by walking the rim with the funny antennas)
condor=shockingly big & ugly bird |

Great pictures ..reminded me of the wonderful time I had about a year ago at the rim watching 10 of the condors soaring up near Bright Angel Lodge. I had the opportunity to spend some time with the "condor hunters" ...very interestinf learning experience! _________________ Photos: http://www.pbase.com/desertgirl/galleries
