Heather,
I bought one of those plastic/vinyl ?? sheds from Lowes by Black & Decker - APEX 8' x 6' x 4' (back of owners manual says you can order additional 2' sections to increase depth), has two small windows and two shelves included (can purchase additional). Fairly flat slanted roof. It is a neutral light grey tone with darker grey tone for roof and doors. Two large doors, so you have about a 3' wide entry. I have it on a concrete slab as well, so no leveling needed, hasn't leaked and exterior is holding up well, not sun weathered (about 5 years old so far). All pieces snapped in place per se, not hard to do. Had to have it delivered, two Large boxes that I would not be able to move. Opened boxes and took out pieces one at time and sorted as I went. I did it myself in one afternoon, Only thing is I thought it wouldn't be too heavy to work with (how heavy can plastic be?) but strained my back in process of building. I would recommend someone helping you hold the roof pieces and such while working, would have been better.

Lots of responses. I also have a long bed pick up so hauling should be okay. I am definitely going to go to Wamart and Lowes this weekend.

Suggest you check and determine if their are any restrictions by building dept or homeowners associations.

Don't be a downer John.

Just put the thing up if it's in the backyard. The HOA (if you have one) can't say boo unless someone complains, and it's over the wall height.

I hate HOAs. Can you tell?

Yep, there's an HOA. I was initially going to get the one on display at Costco. I submitted the ap to the HOA and they said where I wanted to place it was fine, but they would like me to find a shorter one. The one I wanted was 8 feet tall had little windows and everything. Maybe that company makes a shorter version. I am going to place the shed right up against the back wall smack dab in the middle. I can 't move it to the left because I want to put a dog run there. The rest of the yard is going to be grass and I am extending the patio slab the entire width of the house. I just want the shed to be plastic and a minimum of 6 feet high. HOA said the one I picked out would be too tall and they were concerned that they could see it from the street. Next house........NO HOA!!!!

Oh, HOA's are a pain, but wait till your neighbor puts a bright blue shrine made of a half buried, up-ended bath tub, in the front yard! Who ya gonna call?
