Went up to Prescott toay to do this trail. I had only been up there one other time to do the Groom Creek Loop. This hike was very enjoyable, not only because it was 30 degrees cooler there. We set out on the trail at about 11:15 and really didn't see too many people. There were a lot of rock climbers though, that was fun to watch. The views are very cool from up there. We also had thunder and ominous clouds throughout the whole hike. We only got rained on the last 1.5 miles though, and it was wonderfully cold too!! I need to get into some shape here before the WFW, and this one gave me a good workout. I really enjoy hiking in Prescott!! _________________ "In the first place you can't see anything from a car; you've got to get out of the goddamned contraption and walk, better yet crawl, on hands and knees...When traces of blood begin to mark your trail you'll see something, maybe."

Did you happen to see an angry Mohave Rattler near the big tree just past the saddle? _________________ -Colin
