Anyone ever see or hear of a domesticated dog running with a coyote pack? And not being eaten? I know of one that is a regular member of a fairly good sized coyote pack and I thought it to be very strange. He is a standard terrier-mongrel cross with a Petey type eye patch. He's a bit larger than the coyotes but he has their gait when he walks.

My father-in-law has an Australian Red Heeler that loves to run with coyotes. She'll break out of the yard every chance she gets, and we'll see her tearing around the 'hood with them before we are able to get her back in. _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |

This one hangs out with them all the time. He's either escaped or wild.

well, coyotes can breed with domesticated dogs, so I suppose they can tolerate them if they choose to. Probably helps the dog that he's a bit bigger than they are too. _________________ ~Tracy
