Trishness, your cooking is great, I can tell by reading it |
Yes I can vouch for that. Camping with Trish is a spoiling experience.

For cheap good jerky-we wait till London Broil is on sale and then get the butcher to slice it off the cow with a 13 setting on the blade. Then the wife marinades batches of 3lbs in McCormick 7 Pepper Blend with 1/2 cup Worchester/Guinness and some meat tenderiser. Pop in on the dehydrator for 5 hours. Good stuff. javascript:emoticon('')

I've begged Trish to adopt me, but she told me I'm too expensive! what she talkin' about? I don't eat THAT much! Honestly, if you've ever been cared for by Trish, you know you've found the best friend and the greatest cook! She's also very 'heartsmart'. He enjoys that stuff! I do the dishes, though. And clean the house. It works out. I only cook when it's MY recipe. Lasagne is my job, as are enchiladas, tacos, tostadas, stirfry and meatloaf. Hey, don't laugh, my meatloaf is really good! Even my kids will eat it! |

Have you ever tried making the enchiladas but layering them like lasagna? I call them las ladas. I just made meatloaf, fried potatoes w/ onions and greenbeans for dinner. Most of the meatloaf gets frozen anyways, so it lasts a long time. I make tacos every week. |
