You guys are amazing,.
Great write up JC, I'll see you all soon enough. _________________ Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure.

Ken, I looked I picture #10, I can't believe I wasn't last to climb down that thing. Can't imagine climbing up it though, I didn't think there was any place to grab.
There is a lot more snow up there than I would have though as well. |

Those are the pictures from my solo hike on April 1st, I'll have the pictures up from our latest hike by tomorrow, so the snow was still thick when I was there 3 weeks ago. Not much than a couple pockets of snow when we went this past weekend. Yeah there are only really 2 good holds on that wall, you just got to stay focused and inch up and grab the top of it and pull yourself up and over. Pure adrenaline rush for 5 seconds of climbing. I'm just glad I didn't have to slide down it again this time to get a glove. I was going to take a picture of Kim at the bottom of it once I was up, but I didn't want to freak her out anymore than she was. I think a picture with someone standing on the ledge of it will really give people a better feeling of what this section is like. _________________ ~Never Satisfied~

Yeah if you would have taken a picture of me while I was down there I would have been like _________________ Happiness is being high on the food chain. |

Actually, I couldn't have done anything, this was the part when Kim was like, "I need a foothold.." Then she stepped on my head...... _________________ Happiness is being high on the food chain. |
