Road ride sightings

While riding my road bike around Usery Mtns. today I observed four gopher snakes, three rattlesnakes and one racer. Also observed two coyotes, a fox and numerous cottontails and jackrabbits. Hawks were also observed dive bombing unseen targets, perhaps play or practice. Palo Verde is also in bloom nut not much else.

Actually have a night hike later tonight or early am, moon near full perhaps I can avoid the lurking squeakers.
