I just watched the Food TV show "Good Eats" with Alton Brown - an excellent show BTW - and it was on creating homemade Granola Bars and Protien Bars. The recepies were pretty darned tasty looking:
Granola Bars
Protein Bars
Brown Rice Crispy Bar
The show was quite educational - I think I'm going to try some of these. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

I love the shows on Food Network, Alton Brown is one of my favorites. He hosts the Iron Chef America as well...
I don't recommend watching the birthday cake or chili cookoff contest at 0200 in the am, it makes you rather hungry.

Alton Brown is like Bill Nye (the Science Guy) of the Food Network, great show! Sorry I missed it, the recipes look pretty good! _________________ ~Tracy

It's actually a show from his first season and they re-ran it. Kind of cool to see that his schtick hasn't changed much in the intervening season.
There's somethting to be said for consistency. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."
