I think it would be nicer to give up the grub and end a hike a day early than to go to a bears house and shoot it. Eco recreation and all. _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. So the cops are carrying rulers now, to measure blades? "I'm sorry, ma'am, I'll have to arrest you. Your switchblade is 2 and 1/4 inches long!" |

PS IGO As you know, we were originally talking about bear cannisters. Not shooting bears. Some of us (who me?) are incapable of sticking to the topic! It's just that guns and knives are more interesting than Bear Vaults.
Speaking of shooting bears, I think I would draw the line there. I wouldn't want to hunt one (talking legal hunting, here.) They say that when you skin them out they look human. |
