I found one with my grandfather down near Tucson once - small, a little larger than a golfball (maybe 1 1/2 golf balls) - I lost it in the move from Houston to Phoenix.

yeah, I found one!!! The thing to look for is something that looks way, way, out of place. The one I found was the only metallic (nickel) rock next to a wash. It's my most treasured find. I usually look for jasper and obsidian, as well as petrified wood when I'm exploring the BLM lands surrounding our property up north.

A friend of mine found one once and traded it with a guy at NAU for a laptop. I guess they are pretty valuable.

I have never found one, but I was given one years ago. It's a piece of the one from Metoer Crater. It was given to me by one of my dads freinds. He would go out and search for them.

IT has been my ultimate dream to find a meteor.... Not just find, but to see it hit, then go get it. To think, that only God has touched it aside from myself.. treasure indeed!

I also have a piece of meteorite oxide from the the big crater up north...
its not the same tho.
