Where ever you go--where ever you step--on your hike--
whatever--
Thank A VET. If you know one--hug him (or her)--
If you don't, say a silent prayer for a VET.
Say this--
God Bless people who are willing to die for our freedom.
God Bless people who take bullets so you can drink latte.
God Bless people who don't care who gets the credit for--
FREEEDOM!
Alll vets are pretty much the same. They have faced HELL and come "home again" to raise families and live ordinary lives. They don't need no "hoopla" to make them "feel good."
But once in awhile, come around Memorial Day, It warms the Heart of a Vet to "Just say thanks."
And, so, as you plan your next hike, your next trip to the store, your next whatever, stop for at least a second or two and ask yourself,
"Do I know a Vet?"
If you do, then go directly to that VET and thank him or her.
If you don't, maybe you should ask yourself, "Why not?"
And, if not, perhaps you can FIND a VET and reach out and say THANKS!
It doesn't matter. Just go find a VET and THANK him or her!
They truly appreciate it when ordinary people like you do something like that. They truly do. Trust us, they truly do.
Happy Memorial Day!
God Bless America!
