Took a walk at the Arboretum on Labor Day. There were hundreds of massive spider webs everywhere, they were the coolest and most intricate ones I have probably ever seen. Not sure what spiders spun these masteries, but maybe someone here knows! I posted some photos in the gallery...kind of nice viewing it as a slideshow.
Saw Daryl's pictures on display in the visitor center and they are absolutely gorgeous, along with the others displayed there. Good job Daryl.

Thanks Sande, I didn't see this thread before. You might have shot the same butterfly I did. I was comparing photos and the markings are near identical. I don't know if the markings would have changed slightly over a few days?
