I saw some lightening strikes south of the peaks. It sounds like we’re going to get rain, I hope. |

Could either of them be the Mesquite fire?

They had about a dozen to two dozen lightning strikes resulting in fire in the area. The area west of AZ 87 is a pretty good riparian area. |

I think they are called The Edge Complex and The Valentine fires...

Observed the smoke from NE Mesa of fires burning on the Tonto, South half. Five large fires are now burning, Edge Complex, Valentine, Oak, Salome and Greenback. Also observed crews on Type six vehicles (Pickup with tank and hose and at least two crewmen) heading for Dudleyville South of Hayden.
Fire this past weekend destroyed the walkin movie theater in Globe. |
