Did you all(who weren't hiking) see the article today about releasing Fossil Creek? Sounds like a good thing. Hope it doesn't get overrun and over hiked! Wish I could've been there for the release! Smile

Fossil Creek getting way to much press two articles in in the republic today, and in Backpacker Mag. for the month Aug. Weekends would be way to many people.

I'm going there the 2nd and 3rd of July, but that trips been planned for a while.

Many trips in the area down thru the years with a lot of great memories. Mixed feelings on the plant shutdown, APS has been a much better tenant the the land manager.

I'm excited about it. Was part of the environmental study a couple years ago, counting bird species above and below the dam. Beautiful area, no matter how you look at it.

That is one I'm hoping to do. I hear it is beautiful. If it becomes a weekend haven for many it may be worth a weekday look.
