The Dons Club will be holding their annual Trek at First Water Trailhead this weekend at Peralta Canyon Trailhead, expect large crowds.

I completely missed this one. Hooli and I checked their site a while back and saw it was down. http://www.donsofarizona.org/
We attended last year with Fritzski and had a blast. The time I spent talking with Elizabeth Stewart, Jack Carlson and Ron Feldman made the whole day. I'll have to contact the Dons and see why their site is still down.

I don't want to dissappoint you, but unless it is a two weekend event it was last weekend the 8th and 9th, Don's Camp at Peralta

Jmzblond and I saw it Sunday on our trip out. They had a live band, hundreds of cars, RV's, people, etc. There were signs on the way in marking the way to Don's Trek. They had lighting and everything set up for night time activities.

The may account for the large amount of traffic, a flyer from MCSO indicated that it was this weekend.
